To continue in the hiring process, you must have already completed an on-line application through Shelby County Government’s job link:

You must sign up for an available time slot to take the pre-employment assessment.  Dates and times cannot be rescheduled. 

It is important that you schedule yourself and report for testing on the date and time you select. 

1. Failure to schedule yourself and/or report to on time for testing will disqualify you from consideration for the position.  
2. If you pass the exam, you will be placed in an applicant pool ranked according to your score on the exam. Candidates are selected from the applicant pool based on a required basic minimum qualifications posted on the job announcement.
3. If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified by the hiring department for the next step in the employment process.
